They carried out quite significant repairs to prevent damp penetrating the rear roof slope of the property, repointing a chimney and re-rendering the parapet wall. Alba Chimney and Stove Services also clean and repair gutters and down pipes. Both myself and my mother-in-law had our gutters cleaned. My old cast iron gutters had been leaking in several places and Bruce repaired them too. Saved me having to spend a lot of money on replacement sections. I also asked to have a cowl fitted to my chimney pot to stop daft pigeons falling down. I thought this would be a scaffolding job as my chimney is very high. Bruce made light work of this and it was fitted within 10 minutes, again saving me lots of money. I would highly recommend Bruce as an honest, professional tradesman who arrived on time, did a good job, left everything spotless and all for a very reasonable price. I will be using him to fit my stove too.

First sweep of our chimney, check over and clean of our wood burning stove by this company. Extremely professional, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful person. Eventually got round to getting our chimney cleaned. Badly needing done , felt sorry for the guy who done it . Contacted Alba services , the guy was very pleasant and obviously new his stuff . Arrived on time , dust covers fitted , just as well , as it had not been cleaned since the last owners of the house. Job was completed on time and left very tidy , you would never have known he had been there, apart from he loves his chocolate biscuits and cleaned me out ?. I would recommend this firm to anyone , just make sure the kettle is boiled and Kit – Kats are on hand . 5 Star service all round

Karen arranged an appointment which was suitable to me and my husband and David attended and discussed various options available to us within our budget. Quotation was sent out promptly and we were kept up to date with regards to when the work would commence including a courtesy call the evening before. Whilst on site the boys were very friendly and polite and extremely hardworking with the minimum disruption.
