Atlantic Cleaning has supplied cleaning services for Hitherfield School for over 10 years. We have gone out tender at least 3 times during this period.   Atlantic has on each occasion successful secured the contract.  We are a large school  – 700 pupils on roll with a staff of 110.  The school is on a large site with 3 main buildings including a very busy Children’s Centre and Nursery.  We have 62 toilets! Atlantic has and continue to provide us with excellent cleaning services.  Staff are competent and managed effectively.   The area manager is responsive and has formed a professional and mutually respectful relationship with the school Premises Officer. The cleaners are punctual and always on task.  The company has taken responsibility for opening the site daily and they have never let us down – even on snow days. I am also particularly impressed that Atlantic’s senior management i.e. at director level, take the time to visit the school to check standards and this provides us with a further assurance that as customers, we are important.   Cleaning, health and safety for all of our pupils and adults in school has always been a priority, more so now with the COVID situation.   Throughout this pandemic Atlantic have once again demonstrated their pro-active and partnership approach, providing us with clear risk information, adapting in accordance with government legislation in terms of cleaning product, changing routines and safety equipment as well as making deep COVID cleans available at very short notice. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Atlantic Cleaning.
